What is e-Ruption?

e - Ruption is a satellite telecommunication and internet based seismic monitoring system for enhanced volcanic eruption forecasting, early warning and risk management.

FH JOANNEUM (University of Applied Sciences) is project partner at this EU programme and responsible for online visualisation of volcanic 3D data in cooperation with Joanneum Research Institute for Digital Image Processing. This website is the "internal" working and project homepage for FH JOANNEUM and JOANNEUM Research. The official website for the e-Ruption project can be found here.
